Well, well, well. This looks familiar Kaneva is another virtual world network in the works. I haven’t heard of this one before. It will be interesting to see what features and capabilities for customisation, learning and earning there is to be had here. Hmmm….
Come and listen to the Purple Pants episode of the excellent SecondCast. [mp3] This was also broadcast live in-world for another 5 hours after the show! I was invited on to talk about the blogHUD mainly, but we ended up covering up alot of ground. Thanks everyone!
omg! I can’t believe I didn’t post this before. I’m been mad busy before, during and since the Podcast & Portable Media Expo. Now recovering still, after another trans-atlantic, pan-american trip.
What a great time. I’ll post a full report later. But just to say thanks so much to the Libsyn guys, Dave and Marty for giving me a lift into Santa Monica. You dudes ROOL! Two of the smartest, funniest guys I have met in a long time. To Mark from CNN being a great connector of people and choosing the Italian restaurant, over the ‘bbq’(ish)
And to Scott from Apple, you rule. (Statistically speaking ) heh. It will be good to catch up in a more sober environment – OPML is the futuuuuureeee.
All this news about Bill’s movements along with other stuff recently has reminded me very much of the first email I ever sent.
I was the only person I knew who had ever even heard of the internet. I had no one else to try sending one to. I very much doubt it was ever read – but it didn’t bounce. And back then, well before inbox-overwhelming spam, you’d have known if it did

[... a short sentence about myself...]
Twenty years ago people would have laughed if you told them that it will be possible to earn a living sat at a desk in front of a screen, tapping away at plastic buttons, moving a device called a mouse around on a soft pad.
IN TWENTY YEARS TIME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EARN A LIVING SAT AT HOME, WEARING SPECIAL GLASSES AND GLOVES, CLICKING YOUR FINGERS WHILE WAVING YOUR ARMS AROUND IN THE AIR.
MICROSOFT SPACE. MICROSOFT ROOMS.
Close the Windows, the room’s getting cold.
Now who’s laughing?
Thank you for your time.
