Just checking out the weather using a screen I set up a while ago which displays the latest satellite images from around the world from the Weather Channel’s website. UK, Europe, USA, Canada, India and Australia are covered. I love these 3D widgets.

I just remembered years ago when a constant typo I used to make inspired me to what parts of the internet might become. The typo was ‘interent’. I wanted the .com I thought this *had* to be the future. Another recent typo I just noticed inspired more similar thoughts. It brought me to a new word – ‘Realisnt’

It would be great one day, when we can set the focus depth of field in SL. I think a certain realisn is what endears people (like me) to Second Life. Notice how when you stand or sit and do nothing – your avatar ‘breathes’

Since hooking all this’ image here, post there, titles here, body texts there, crossposting to blogs and your existing image/photo storage facility (or the most excellent gmail – thanks google!) , ‘geo’ location deets and thoughts or opportunities’, I have to say I’m pretty pleased by the way it’s turning out. The thing is, is I have been kneedeep in RL code for podcast.com, deep, deep in the bowels of the system – until now, it’s time to get my mojo working back in the front (end) line. When things get going there are going to be some obvious similarities to certain things in the UI between bloghud and podcast. I can’t help that. It’s coooooool! I’m re-learning – it’s been a while.
