By popular demand, you can now browse/graze and listen to all the podcasts aggregated by NPR (National Public Radio) by visiting http://npr.podcast.com
Soon we’ll have the tools to be able to provide custom content at the ‘home’ level of *any* of the nodes/branches – making these cool subdomains even cooler!
Wow. Has Techmeme become GoogleMeme? It seems that as soon anyone writes about Google, then everyone does – then the whole of Techmeme is ‘ALLABOUTGOOGLE’.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Google released something and then NOBODY wrote about it on their blogs etc – then they might not be so powerful As it seems that people are very concerned about Google’s power. Don’t they realise that those people who do write about them ARE the ones giving them power? heh.
In celebration of Vloggercon this weekend in San Francisco, I have added a load more Video Podcast (vlog) feeds to the video podcast directory at podcast.com
Enjoy! There will be alot more to come, as well a better way to view the videos in your browser.
Very soon (once I have ironed out a bug) I will use the alpha system at podcast.com to publish this. All I need to do is import the OPML, and then assign a subdomain, using the simple form (yet to be released) and bingo!! They’ll all appear within npr.podcast.com I did an identical process to create http://bbc.podcast.com
Woo! Last night, we finally managed to get the time to do another episode of the Bluggcast podcast! Not only that, but we actually broadcast it LIVE as we were recording onto our land in Second Life – on the 'Bluggcast Balcony'.
Quite a few people showed up and danced and chatted about it – then we had a little disco on the balcony afterwards GREAT STUFF!!
